Jane VanVooren Rogers (she/her) holds a BA in English-writing and has worked in her field for over 20 years, crafting hundreds of articles on a variety of topics. Special interests include lawn and garden care, items for the home, kitchen appliances, and kids’ products. Trained in service journalism, Jane specializes in researching and simplifying product information so readers can easily find the best deals. A former agriculture and turf market analyst, she now lives as a writer, home cook/baker, gardener, and mother of a blended multicultural family that includes five kids, ages 7 to 16, in her (mostly) quiet country home near the Quad Cities, the only place where the Mississippi River runs east to west.
